BarrRRLLL!!! Heres a concept sketch I did for the Barl episode. The tunnel called for some psychedelic animation with sky patterns floating by and the time tunnels color evolves as the story delves deeper within it. At first sight its calming blues makes it feel serene, when technically we're going over 200 MPH but the slow streamline highlights animating smoothly in the air makes it seem as if time has slowed down inside of barls car. Soon after a pitstop, the pace picks up when faced with the catlike iron bar time punks, inspired by the Mad Max 'Fury Road' characters, where the atmosphere needed to feel more like your life is in danger.
